Amazing sea views from my own private entrance. Free WiFi and parking, how posh! The holiday home had a cozy fireplace and stunning mountain and lake views. Towels provided, thank goodness!
Oh, what fun it was to drive 39 km to Uig. Such a scenic adventure on those narrow twisty roads!

The location of the cottage was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and a peaceful, isolated atmosphere. It was the perfect spot for those who enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle. The cottage had everything we needed, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. We especially loved the gesture of the owners leaving milk, free-range organic eggs, and organic biscuits for us. Another advantage was the short walk to the pebble beach, which added to the charm of the location.
The lack of a window with a view to fully take in the spectacular surroundings, especially during the winter time. It would have been wonderful to have a window in the large bedroom that could also serve as a sitting area.

The location was absolutely mind-blowing with jaw-dropping views. The cottage was super cozy, clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a long stay. The walks around the area were amazing, and we even spotted eagles, seals, sheep, and cattle. The neighbor was incredibly friendly and helpful, and we were welcomed with a lovely basket of goodies. The pebble beach and sea were just a short walk away, perfect for swimming and kayaking. a truly delightful getaway in a stunning and remote setting.

The location of the accommodation was amazing, with stunning views and plenty of activities to do nearby. the little pebble beach just a short walk away was perfect for swimming, kayaking, and taking leisurely walks. the house itself was very clean and well laid out, with everything carefully thought out for our comfort. We appreciated the extra touches like the flask for taking hot chocolate on our excursions and the selection of DVDs for entertainment.
There were a few things that could have been improved upon. the kitchen floor became quite slippery with even a small water spillage, which was a bit of a safety hazard.

It would have been nice to have a window to sit and enjoy the spectacular views, especially in the winter time.

the open fire and all the necessary facilities made it a cosy and comfortable experience. the stunning views from the bedrooms, where we could see the sunrise on the coast, were breathtaking. On clear nights, we were even able to see more stars than we've ever seen before, including the milky way. the access to a secluded bay through a neighboring croft was a highlight, where we even managed to have a swim. the cottage was perfect, sparkling clean, and fresh.
Cons: Nothing, no complaints at all.

Our stay at this cottage was absolutely amazing! the location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the coast and the opportunity to see wild deer and seals in the bay. the cottage itself was well-equipped, with everything we needed for a cozy and comfortable stay. We loved the open fire, which made the evenings even more special. the welcome basket provided by Elizabeth was a lovely touch, and we really appreciated having milk in the fridge upon arrival. It truly felt like a home away from home.
The poor shower pressure, but it was manageable and didn't diminish our overall experience. being a remote location, it is important to come prepared with provisions as the closest shop is a 45-minute drive away in Stornoway.

The cottage had a modern and cozy interior, with stunning views from the windows. The location was great, remote enough for peace and quiet, but not too far from Stornoway. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, and the folder of local history was really interesting.
Be prepared and bring provisions, as the nearest "real" shop is a 45-minute drive away in Stornoway. The shower pressure was a bit poor, but we managed fine.

The cottage had stunning views and luxurious amenities that made it feel like a cozy home away from home. the hosts were friendly and helpful, and the housekeeping was lovely. the location was perfect for finding peace and tranquility, with access to a secluded bay and beautiful sunrises over the coast. Plus, the cottage provided everything we needed, from an open fire to extra blankets and towels.
It would have been a bonus to have a small dishwasher for the four of us staying, and the heating system had a mind of its own at times. But overall, these were minor inconveniences in comparison to the wonderful experience we had at this lovely accommodation.
