Oh, what fun it was to drive 39 km to Uig. Such a scenic adventure on those narrow twisty roads!

The location of the cottage was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and a peaceful, isolated atmosphere. It was the perfect spot for those who enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle. The cottage had everything we needed, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. We especially loved the gesture of the owners leaving milk, free-range organic eggs, and organic biscuits for us. Another advantage was the short walk to the pebble beach, which added to the charm of the location.

The lack of a window with a view to fully take in the spectacular surroundings, especially during the winter time. It would have been wonderful to have a window in the large bedroom that could also serve as a sitting area.

The walks around the area were amazing, and we even spotted eagles, seals, sheep, and cattle. The neighbor was incredibly friendly and helpful, and we were welcomed with a lovely basket of goodies. The pebble beach and sea were just a short walk away, perfect for swimming and kayaking. a truly delightful getaway in a stunning and remote setting.

We had a fantastic time during our stay at 8B Calbost. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway and offered beautiful views. We were delighted with the welcome pack that included delicious treats like eggs, shortbread, and butterscotch cake. The property also offered great walks in the surroundings, making it feel like a true home away from home.

the open fire and all the necessary facilities made it a cosy and comfortable experience. the stunning views from the bedrooms, where we could see the sunrise on the coast, were breathtaking. On clear nights, we were even able to see more stars than we've ever seen before, including the milky way. the access to a secluded bay through a neighboring croft was a highlight, where we even managed to have a swim. the cottage was perfect, sparkling clean, and fresh.
